The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa - promoting regional economic integration through trade and investment.
With its 19 member states, population of over 389 million and annual import bill of around US$32 billion with an export bill of US$82 billion COMESA forms a major market place for both internal and external trading. The Secretariat of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern African States (COMESA) has the honour to announce, following consultations with the Bureau, the postponement of the 13th COMESA Summit of Heads of State and Government, which was scheduled to be held in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe from 7th to 8th December. 2008.

SMEs to participate in Comesa exhibition

One hundred and fifty small to medium scale entrepreneurs will participate at an exhibition to run concurrently with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa later this month, the Zimbabwe National Association of SMEs provincial chairman, Mr Themba Ncube, has said.
